Well, if all goes the way they've got it planned, Both Jimmy (This Boat) and John and Mary (Morning Star) will be leaving early next week. Jimmy is heading for Bermuda, with the ultimate intentions of sailing his Rival 1/2 way around the world to Australia and John and Mary are headed North to the Chesepeake Bay area to start their journeys afloat. With that being said, this was probably our last race together, and it just so happened to be the year's big one. We placed 7th out of 12 boats in our class, and we had a great time. There were almost 40 boats on the water for this one. We also had a new hand on deck (Breck) that may be stepping in for future races, who did a great job "picking up the ropes" so to speak. With all that being said, we will certainly miss John, Mary, and Jim and wish them the best. Fair winds y'all, and keep in touch. Surprise Visit!
So out of the blue our friend Mark and his daughter Sarah came walking down the dock, which was a great surprise . We spent a day here on the boat and then we went to the beach and hung out at Mark's camper. The boys had a blast with Mark's friend Jay and his son Riley and the girls there. We ate skewered shrimp, hung out on the beach and it was much fun. Great to catch up.

Memorial Day Weekend
After trying a dozen times or so to post this here it is, Memorial Day weekend raft-up at Southriver. Peter, Gale, Jim, Bob, Molly, John, and the Morgans. We went fishing, went to the old cemetary on the hill, ate like kings, and had some great sailing. Lots of fun. Sorry it took so long to get it out there. The sail over was practically no wind, but coming back everyone was slicing through. Saw 4 different sets of skates swimming near the surface on the way over. Some were pretty large. Lotsa Jellyfish too.
