Cape Lookout Weekend

We left out Friday night and anchored in Adams Creek. We woke early Saturday and headed downriver to the Morehead City Turnaround Basin and out to Cape Lookout. Came back Sunday, saw many dolphins. Beautiful weekend for it, we had alot of fun.

Sinking Thinkings

*Chart: A type of map that tells you exactly where it is that you've ran aground

*Propeller: Underwater winch designed to wind up at high speed any lines or painters left hanging over the stern

*Clew: Evidence leading to the recovery of a missing sail

*Canvas: An abrasive sailcloth used to remove excess skin from knuckles.

*Fluke - The portion of an anchor that digs securely into the bottom, holding the boat in place; also, any occasion when this occurs on the first try.

*My spouse has determined that I am the Captain of my ship.
